StyleKeys Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 6, 2026
This policy covers the StyleKeys app and its keyboard extension for iPhone ("StyleKeys"), published by Shruti Kapuriya.
The short version
StyleKeys itself does not collect, send or sell your data, and there are no accounts. What you type, your clipboard, themes, stickers and photos stay on your iPhone, and the keyboard never uses the internet. The StyleKeys app shows ads, which are provided by Google AdMob and its advertising partners. See Ads below for what they collect and your choices.
What you type
The keyboard processes your keystrokes on your device to show suggestions, corrections and next-word predictions. Your keystrokes and sentences are not saved and never leave your device. Only the individual words described under "Learned words" and the clipboard items described below are kept, and only on your device.
Learned words
To improve suggestions, StyleKeys remembers words you keep after an autocorrection and counts which word you often type after another. This is stored on your device only. Turn it off with Settings > "Learn from my typing", or erase it with "Clear Learned Words".
Clipboard
If you turn on Allow Full Access and allow pasting, the keyboard saves text you copy so that you can paste it again from its Clipboard tool. Items copied from password managers are skipped. Items stay on your device. Recent items are deleted automatically after the period you choose (1 hour, 1 day, 1 week or forever; the default is 1 day). You can delete any item or clear all recent items at any time. Notes and pinned items stay until you delete them. You can turn this off any time with Save clipboard history (app > Clipboard tab, or the keyboard's Settings > Typing).
Photos and camera
When you make a photo theme or a sticker, StyleKeys uses only the photo you pick or take. It is resized and saved inside StyleKeys on your device. StyleKeys uses the system photo picker and cannot see the rest of your photo library. The camera is used only when you choose to take a photo.
Notifications
If you allow notifications, StyleKeys schedules them on your iPhone: one reminder to finish setting up the keyboard and one tip a week. They are created on your device, nothing is sent from a server and no data is collected. Turn tips or all notifications off in StyleKeys Settings > Notifications or in iOS Settings.
Ads
The StyleKeys app (never the keyboard) shows ads while it starts up: on the launch screen, the language screen and the intro screens. They are provided by Google AdMob and the advertising partners AdMob works with (currently AppLovin, InMobi, Liftoff, Meta Audience Network, Mintegral and Pangle). To show, measure and protect against fraud in ads, these companies may collect your device's advertising identifier (only if you allow tracking), IP address and the approximate location it implies, device and app details, how you interact with ads, and crash and performance data. They may use this to show ads that are more relevant to you. They do not receive what you type, your clipboard, your photos, themes or stickers. iOS asks whether the app may track you: if you choose Ask App Not to Track, ads still appear but are not matched to your identifier. In some regions a consent message from Google lets you choose how ad data is used. You can change this at any time in Settings > Ads > Privacy Choices (where shown) and in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. Google explains how it uses ad data at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.
App settings (Firebase)
The app downloads its settings, such as which ads are shown, from Google Firebase Remote Config. To do this, Firebase uses a random installation ID created for this copy of the app, along with your IP address and basic app and device details (app version, iOS version, language and country). It is not used for advertising or to identify you, and it never includes what you type or save. Google explains how Firebase handles data at firebase.google.com/support/privacy.
Why Allow Full Access
iOS asks you to allow Full Access for keyboards that share data with their app or use certain features. StyleKeys uses it only to read your themes, stickers, fonts and settings from the app, to vibrate on key presses, to save clipboard items, and to copy stickers so that you can paste them. Typing works without it. You can turn it off at any time in Settings > General > Keyboard > Keyboards > StyleKeys.
Sharing and third parties
StyleKeys shares nothing you type or save with anyone, including the developer. The only third-party code that collects data is the ads code described under Ads and Firebase (see App settings), and that data is handled by Google and those companies under their own privacy policies.
Data retention, deletion and your choices
- Everything you type or save in StyleKeys is stored only on your device, in StyleKeys' storage. Data collected by the ad companies described under Ads is held by them under their own policies.
- You can turn off learning, clear learned words, turn off clipboard history, delete clipboard items and change clipboard retention in the app.
- You can withdraw permission at any time by turning off Allow Full Access or camera access in iOS Settings.
- Deleting the StyleKeys app removes all of its data from your device.
- We hold no data about you, so there is nothing for us to export or delete on our side. To limit ad data, turn off tracking in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking, or reset your advertising identifier there.
Children
StyleKeys does not knowingly collect information from children. The only data collected in the app is by the ad companies described under Ads.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page and in the app, with a new date.
